Council wishes to thank everyone who participated in the Survey regarding the Leask Sports Centre. Based on their review of the results of the Survey and the proposal from the Rink Board, Council will make take no further steps to close the Rink at this time or to implement a Tax Levy. The Rink Board proposes to raise the funds needed to keep the Rink open to the end of the year and would reassess January 1, 2019. At that time, Council will reassess their decision as well.
