Public notice is hereby given that nominations of candidates for the offices of:

AT THE TIME OF VOTING
Since the Leask Recreation Board turned the control of the Rink over to the Village of Leask in December 2016, Council has been operating the Leask Sports Centre. Council members, with the help of volunteers, have put in the ice each winter, performed maintenance to the building and rented out space to Northwest College for the adult education program.
R.M. of Leask – Employment Opportunity Seasonal Full Time Grader Operator (PDF)
The Rural Municipality of Leask No. 464 is looking for a seasonal full time Grader Operator. The unit to be driven is a 772G John Deere Grader.
The position is open immediately and usually commences until Oct 31, 2018 or freeze up. Occasionally other duties may be required including shop, yard and field duties.
A minimum of 5 years grader experience is necessary. Road construction experience will also be highly considered. Normal hours of work are from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Some overtime may be required. Rate of pay and benefits as per the union agreement.

CHANGE TO DAYS OF OPERATION FOR THE VILLAGE LANDFILL
Notice to Residents The landfill will no longer be open on Saturdays commencing November 1, 2016 running through to February 28, 2017. The landfill will reopen on March 1, 2017 and will be open on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month only. PDF
