Q: I want to pay more on my taxes, utilities or just want to make changes to my account. What do I do?
Q: What's this letter I received in the mail saying I owe taxes?
A: This is the amount that was / is due on December 31, 2019 according to the Village ledger. The Village has engaged with a new auditor. Each year, they will send out a letter stating if you owe taxes at the end of the year. This is part of their procedure. The letter will be from Price Waterhouse Coopers. You are not being audited, you are not in trouble, it's just a confirmation letter. I hope this clarifies things for everyone.
